How does a rider register as a MOUN member?
The rider completes the online registration form, provides required personal details, NIN, LGA, Unit/Park, Village/Town, Location/Area, next of kin information, and a passport photograph. The valid 11-digit NIN is the only identity credential required. The application remains pending until an authorised officer reviews and approves it.
What is the MOUN unique identification number?
The MOUN Number is the official rider identification number generated after approval. For example, a rider in Lokoja may receive an ID such as KG/LKJ/MOUN-001. This ID links the rider to their approved profile and official vest number.
Can the public see a rider’s private details?
No. Public verification only displays safe details such as name, photo, MOUN Number, LGA, Unit/Park, Park Location, vest number, status, and registration validity. Private information such as NIN, residential address, next of kin, is restricted to authorised administrators.
How does the complaint portal work?
A passenger, rider, or member of the public can submit a complaint with available rider details, incident location, date, description, and evidence. The system generates a complaint reference number and allows complaint officers to review, assign, update, and resolve the matter.
How are official membership credentials managed?
Authorised administrators issue and manage official credentials after approval. The public portal provides verification only and does not display, print, or download member credentials.
Does the system work on a local server?
Yes. The project is designed to run locally with Apache, PHP, and MySQL. The icon system and QR generator work without external internet access.
