How to Join MOUN Kogi State Chapter

Follow these steps to submit a complete application, pass officer verification, receive an official MOUN Number, and obtain the correct senatorial-zone vest.

Before you begin

Prepare the correct information

Use your real and verifiable information. Duplicate or invalid NIN records and incorrect operating locations can delay the application.

Personal identity
Full name, gender, date of birth, phone number, residential address, and 11-digit NIN.

Operating location
LGA, Unit or Park, Village or Town, and the exact Location or Area where you operate.

Emergency and guarantor details
Next-of-kin name and phone number, plus guarantor details where available.

Identity requirement
Your valid 11-digit NIN is the only identity credential required. No additional identity document is accepted.

Six-step process

From application to official vest allocation

Prepare your details

Gather your NIN, phone number, address, operating location, next-of-kin details, and passport photograph.

Complete registration

Enter the information carefully on the registration page. Required fields must be completed before submission.

Submit and keep your copy

After submission, the portal displays a success notice and a well-arranged A4 acknowledgement that can be printed or saved as PDF.

Officer verification

A Registration Officer checks the applicant, NIN, location, and photograph.

Approval and MOUN Number

When the application is approved, the system creates a unique MOUN Number. Rejected or incomplete applications are not issued credentials.

Vest assignment and collection

A unique vest number is assigned. The record shows whether the vest is reserved or physically collected, preventing duplicate assignment.

Keep your application reference. It helps the secretariat locate your submitted application while it is pending verification.

Official colour representation

Vest colours are determined by senatorial zone

The colour is not chosen by the member. It is assigned from the LGA’s senatorial zone after verification.
